DAY 3

The Trird day in Chiang Mai

Hello guys I would like to tell you about our activities today and I hope you like it! In the morning, me and friends went to the school and was acompanied by mam Nida (our coordinator) and ride by red taxi (traditional transportation in thailand) so, we just walked from our campus to the oustide and stop the red taxi by shaked our hands and asked the driver to get there, actually mam nida (our coordinator ) just told us to spoke in thailand language because if we use english the driver will not understand and he will think we are foreiner and charge us higher amount of transportation that’s normaly only cost 20Bath. So after that we went back to our campus because we still have a campus orientation at 1pm with all the international depertament and also the vice president. It’s such an honor for me to have an orientation with them, they introducted theirselves and we also introduced ourselves one by one. Honestly, I was nervous but I enjoyed the time. After we introduced ourselves, we had a photo session with all the people from international departement and I’m really happy because they gave me a souvenir from CMRU. It was like a notebook with a cartoon characters wearing thaliand traditonal clothes. Next, we have met with our mentor teacher in the campus. We discused about our lesson plans, teaching methods and everything about the school.

After our orientation session, we decided to go to the LOTUS market(it was such a big super market in thalaind ) to buy some groceries. We just walked from the campus to that place. We just used a map and asked some people the direction in how we can get there. The distance to the market is around 2 kilometers from our campus and we really enjoyed our trip to the market because we walked around Chiang Mai in the afternoon. We went at 3pm and lucky for us because it’s not raining because yesterday we have a rainy day in the afternoon. We shopped a lot, after we have our groceries we went to KFC to buy some of foods because we felt very hungry. After we have our dinner we went home by riding the red taxi because we felt so tired. It was really fun to go there because we can find a lot of foods in there. That’s the story about our third day stay in Chiang Mai. I really hope you like it guys bye ..
